This episode introduces a unique research project at Blinken OSA, the goal of which is to collect and make available online the dispersed cultural heritage of the refugees who fled Hungary following the 1956 Revolution. The documents assembled from the collections of the International Rescue Committee at the Hoover Institution at Stanford and the National Archives and Records Administration in Washington DC shed a unique light on the history of 1956.
